Current Opening: Microsoft 365 & Network Security Specialist

Location: Remote (Winnipeg/Manitoba-based) with on-site customer visits as needed
Hours: Typically Monday–Friday, 9:00–5:00
Additional schedule: Some project work may be scheduled after hours and/or on weekends

What You’ll Do

You’ll play a key role in supporting and improving customer environments — with a focus on Microsoft 365, endpoint and network security, and practical IT solutions. The work is a mix of planned projects and responsive support, with time on-site when customer needs call for it.

What will help you succeed here

• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 administration and security fundamentals
• Solid understanding of networking (firewalls, VLANs, VPNs, DNS/DHCP, routing basics)
• Comfort working independently in a remote role — and professionally on-site when needed
• A steady, service-minded approach when things are urgent
• Good documentation habits and a bias for clean, secure configurations
• A driver’s licence and ability to travel to customer locations when required

What will help you succeed here

• Intune/endpoint management
• Security tools such as EDR and SIEM, or security monitoring/response processes
• Vulnerability management or penetration testing coordination
• Backup platforms, disaster recovery planning, or cyber insurance readiness
• Experience supporting small to mid-sized businesses across diverse environments
